What would your day look like as a GoWrench Automotive Technician?

Most likely your day will start by waking up and actually being excited to come to work.  You’ll look forward to working with a team that feels like family, and is all about getting the job done right, the first time.  You’ll be working with your friends that are experts in their field, who are pretty good at putting a smile on your face.  You’ll enjoy having access to great equipment and tools (as well as your own) that allow you to really excel.  You will be in a fast paced environment completing a wide range of automotive repair, maintenance and tire services.  You’ll work with clients that care about quality, both at their location, and ours.   At the end of the day, you’ll sleep soundly and rest assured that your hard work and dedication is creating a brighter future for you, and the people you care about.

For you to be our ideal candidate, you would be someone who cares about getting the job done right, the first time.  You would be easy to work with and possess a strong work ethic and dedication to your craft.  You would have a valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract and be comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles.  You would be open to being part of a family-like team as well as new training, technology and innovation.

• Many years of experience
• Experience as a service manager, shop manager or mobile mechanic
• 310T certification
• Additional certifications or skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Location(s)

• Head Office & Shop: 125 Bethridge Road, Etobicoke ON. (near Pearson Airport)
• Wherever the client is (mobile service vans)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnostics
• Automotive repairs 
• Some maintenance & tire services (mostly tire & lube techs or apprentices complete tire and maintenance services)
• Communicating with service manager & advisors
• Completing work orders

Other Duties

• Using company provided apps and software
• Basic use of a smartphone
• Handling Work Orders

Qualifications and Skills

• Able to work in fast-paced environment

Customer Service Hours

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6pm

Saturday 10am - 5pm 

Sunday 10am - 3pm

Operations Hours

7 days a week 9am - 9pm

Requirements 

• 310S or 310T Certification
• Valid driver's license & clean abstract
• Able to pass a police background check
• 3+ years experience (preferred but not required)
• Must have a good smartphone and decent laptop (if you need a new laptop we can assist you)
• Basic hand tools
